The story began to fall apart when investigators couldn’t find the incident on parking lot surveillance cameras nor any witnesses. They did however find store surveillance of the accuser purchasing a small knife minutes before his so called “attack.” When confronted with the new evidence, Witt admitted he was lying. He now faces a $2,650 fine and up to a year in prison.
What a dimwitt! Not only could his lie potentially have gotten an innocent black man profiled as “armed and dangerous” and possibly killed but his pending sentence seems like a slap on the wrist. Am I buggin or naw?
