A woman is suing Sephora for allegedly catching the herpes virus after using a lipstick product tester in a Los Angeles store. The woman alleges that had she known that she could possibly be infected from the stores testers, she would have never tried anything. She claims Sephora never warned customers properly of the dangers of product testing at their stores. Now this woman is suing Sephora for $25,000. She claims she never had the virus before and right after using a lipstick tester in Sephora she broke out in a sore and was diagnosed with herpes. We will see how this plays out. Sephora released a statement “While it is our policy not to comment on litigation, the health and safety of our clients is our foremost priority. We take product hygiene very seriously and we are dedicated to following best practices in our stores.”
Girl bye! I know you lyin lol. It is common knowledge that the herpes virus can lay dormant for years before an outbreak. According to statistics, thousands and thousands have the virus and don’t even know it and are highly contagious. Experts are also saying it’s highly unlikely to get herpes from lipstick. Certain circumstances would have to be present. I’m guessing this woman will have lots to prove. Like that she indeed didn’t have the virus before the store visit.
